Gus Johnson and the healing

Another disgusting display by the media for the child rape culture of PSU that will never go away. Ever. PSU is who they are....sexual perverts and cultists. There is no healing from child rape.

You have the Rape Scandal that happened under Paterno, they hired a football coach that was tied to a Rape Scandal at Vandy, and hired a President who was at FSU when the Winston rape scandal came out. Success Without Honor is the mantra at Dear Old Penn St.

There was no cover up at Vandy. The players were booted and did not step back on the field.

Seriously, go back to your own board and slobber all over Slippin' Jimmy's knob. Stop pretending to be a Pitt fan. It's pathetic.

I'm a Pitt fan.

I'm also happy for James from State College via Nashville. Not even I slob on his knob enough to predict a conference championship in year 3.(to borrow your expression)

If you want to bring up Sandusky, child rape, JoePa...that's fine. Trying to imply Franklin is somehow covering up rape is just wrong, imo.

#1 in the big ten. #2 in pa. That's the final rankings. Enjoy

A number of lives have been destroyed by the culture created by Joe Paterno. You can keep saying no one there had anything to do with it and that is true, but the culture of football first above everything else, even child sexual abuse is still there. Its okay, they will fail again in time because that is what happens when priorities are not what they should be and I hope God remembers those with such priorities.

Who's healing are we talking about? Do you really think any of this is going to help heal the true victims? Oh sure, they got their money so all is good now. Since they got paid they can all forget what happened to them. Those of you who truly believe that should not be considered human, you are a step below cockroaches. That is what is sickening about this whole thing, those who act like THEY are the victims and those who believe that money takes care of everything.

It is so sad. And then there's these sick f@*#s who try and make us feel bad for being disgusted by it. Yeah it's an anonymous message board, nobody knows anyone, but everyone has a psychology degree and knows what everyone is thinking. Seriously some of these people (on this very board as well as PSU's) are sicker than Sandusky himself. Healing process? Gimme a god damn break. Not a college town in America less deserving of anything good. But hey, they're the big ten champs so just yell, scream, and party and if somebody doesn't like it, they're just jealous they're not included in "the cult."

Still haven't left the "safe space" TD said fans should retreat to before the Clemson game... Did Pitt win another game? Did PSU miss the playoff directly in part because they lost to Pitt?

First off, a sexual predator is a person. It isn't a football program, a school, or even culture. PSU's administration isn't the first institution to drop the ball on a case like this and they certainly won't be the last. The 'football first' culture wasn't created by Joe Paterno. It's pretty much an American problem. Ya know, a certain NFL QB in Pittsburgh may or may not have had inappropriate behavior with women in the past. I have no clue what happened, but it certainly seemed suspicious at the time.

Secondly, just because someone is a victim of sexual abuse should in no way imply that their life is 'destroyed'. It's traumatic, but many victims work through it and go on to live happy, healthy, productive lives.

This might be the worst post you have ever made in defense of Franklin and jimmy. you are now speaking on behalf of sexual assault victims??? wow. just wow...

This is a perfect example of the problem.

Are you saying 'victim of sexual abuse' should be their identity? Are you saying its healthy to go through life that way? It sure sounds like you are.

BTW, What defense of Franklin? What does he have to with any of the scandal at PSU?

It's rhetorical. The answer is not a damn thing.

Someone should tell Gus that it is the children that need to endure the healing process and not the football program. Seems to be a major misconception that the football program was the victim.

TD and his argument is exactly what is so wrong about penn state and their fans. they argue that the victims should just get over it. hey have mom cook you breakfast and you can forget about Sandusky for the rest of your life.

Yeah, I am sure all of the victims were cheering for penn state last night and completely forgot that they were raped and it was covered up for decades. after all, it had absolutely nothing to do with football
