Happy signing day!

Are the coaches actively looking in the transfer portal? If Pickett does return, he needs more experienced receivers to complement Addison and Turner. There are WRs in the portal, and I can only imagine what a handful of less drops a game would mean for this team. Maybe these new guys can find a way to the field early, but usually not.

I think the answer is, of course they are. There is plenty of room to bring guys in. You'd think they need to find a playmaker or two on offense.

So just Marco and Brandon for the two who did not sign. Is that correct?

Sewell to Vandy
Khalil Anderson is a stud CB who committed. It was one or the other, and Khalil is the guy the bigger schools were coming after.
If you had the choice to take one or the other (Crumpley, Sewell), which one would you have preferred to sign?

I don’t know enough to give you a good solid answer. National Composite Ranking has Crumpley rated higher and it would be nice to break into the Cincinnati area for recruiting. I liked Sewell as well. Khalil Anderson was the guy I liked best and should be a 4 star recruit. He is a good CB and return man.

Thanks, wasn’t sure since I don’t follow much recruiting. However, I looked through the last three recruiting classes (counting 2021) and what I found interesting is that Crumpley continues a trend of almost every CB being at least 6’0”. Say what you want about the offense, but they have a clear identity on defense and I like it.
