Of course not. Everyone's Mr. Nice Guy has played Pitt like a violin and made every effort to capitalize on every flirtatious overture made his way. That's his pretogative. I think, however, it's time for Pitt to draw a line in the sand. It was stupid enough to allow Dixon to use one graveyard program, USC, as leverage to obtain a lifetime contract from Pitt, TCU, even more of a graveyard, program, is a bridge to far for leverage for anything but Pitt's wishing him a fond farewell.
Ball's clearly in JD's court. Decision is his.Ben Howland left Pitt for his dream job.
UCLA then got rid of Ben.
Jamie was offered the Pitt job which he can remain probably until he retires or Jamie can go to TCU and maybe end up like Ben.
I would prefer he stay but in the end it is his choice.
HAIL TO PITT!!!!

Jamie has said on many occasions that many coaches spend their entire career looking for "their next job" but he has his "next job" already. Maybe since he's quiet he is actually considering this offer because he is a graduate of TCU. Remember Pitt was a basketball graveyard before he got here. Not that I can remember. It seems to be the rumors happen, a few days later the team hires someone else and then Dixon is quoted as saying there was never interest.
Granted, there have been several, but they always seem to be allowed fester...
