Getting 12 commitments from two visit weekends is a crazy number, and it’s putting a crunch on Pitt’s available scholarships for the 2020 class, but here’s the kicker: the Panthers could have gotten more commitments out of the last 10 days. You’re going to see - and have already seen - some of those official visitors commit to other schools, and with few exceptions, those recruits lost their spots at Pitt. There are some impressive recruits who have effectively been turned away.
