Start at the 35 so you aren't already in FG range. That'll end OT's quicker and we can end this ridiculousness of dueling 2 point conversions.
but I will add OT, not sure how much Duzz haters criticize his sideline emotion and antics but there's many great coaches as bad or worse and one was on display last night...... calling all those excessive OT time outs
The coaches are supposed to be in-between the 25 yard lines as well. He clearly violated that numerous times and was coaching from the 15 yd line and well onto the field. Just another example of bad officiating last night.Worse than that he was 5 yards on the field yelling defensive instructions while GT ran several plays. I kept thinking why are they letting him do that.
At least twice in OT he was still on the field while GT was running their play.
Second OT...flip the coin again...if first team scores a td they are awarded 7 points and they get the normal 3 for a field goal....second team to get the ball in OT must beat them, ie go for two after their own td or score a td after first team's field goal...simple and clean and over quickly......or hell, just make that the rule from the git go in the first OT...I'm okay with starting from the 25. But just keep doing that. The 2-point conversion content is silly.
While we're at it, college basketball OT should be three minutes, not five.

The A&M 74-72 win over LSU prompted a change to reduce the length of games.I'm not even sure why they switched it. Starting at the 25 was fine. Were games really taking too long? I think if they started at the 35, you'd limit the amount of OT's because you'd have more missed FG attempts. Anything but the dueling 2 point tries.
