in regards to Chip Kelly trading him to the Bills. Obviously, I have not been in the Eagles locker room and I have no first hand knowledge of Kelly's interaction with any of his players, but I find it hard to believe that Chip Kelly is intentionally trading away his good black players because he's a racist. I have always liked and cheered for Shady while he was at Pitt and with the Eagles, but hearing the "race card" coming out of his mouth is bothersome.
Still wish McCoy the best at Buffalo, but I wish he didn't bring up the issue of race.

Agree. Shady, please keep it real and rational. Kelly replaced you with a player who, last I checked, was black. I know you must have issues with Kelly but please keep it on the tracks.

Perception is someone's reality. Though I don't believe that Kelly is a racist (which is essentially what Shady is calling him indirectly), I can put myself in someone else's shoes and the bottom line is (from Shady's perspective mind you) that the Eagles let their best player go (Desean Jackson) and allowed the racist white receiver (I forget his name other than he was drunk at a concert using the N word) to stay on the team.

Now obviously, salary and locker room issues, etc...played a role in why Jackson was let go...but again, while I don't agree with Shady, I can understand his point of view...

Doesn't matter. With all the ramifications that can befall a person in our current society by being labeled racist, you have to have some evidence before you throw around that accusation. "Perception" doesn't cut it.

Crying “racist” has become the new crying wolf…in one ear out the other…. The standard for what was once a systemic belief that one race was superior to another and said race held a higher standing in society and in intelligence is now lowered to any white person who uses a six letter derogatory term or a coach that gets rid of players to find guys that fit his ideology and schemes…..geez, someone cannot even recall the guy’s name but know he is a racist based on a word he used and probably hears fifty times a day in the locker room…laughable…
