So we’re officially here. Everyone wants to fire Duzz. Problem is he’s locked into a $4M per deal (if not more) until 2024.
He is almost unfireable at this point because of that contract
I’m interested to see if the board would consider going the “Dabo” route and axing Duzz and the big money for a young charismatic coach that seemingly comes from nowhere.
The internal candidates are actually somewhat exciting. I know Partridge failed at FAU but maybe if given resources he can just be the Ed O figurehead and hire some big time coordinators? Maybe we go the actual Dabo route and promote WR coach Beatty - the ace of all ace recruiters to be head coach and just get the best recruiting staff possible and some veteran yet exciting coordinators
Maybe we go external for a candidate like a G5 HC or hell even a FCS powerhouse coach (similar to what KState did).
All I’m saying at the end of this long post - I’m not sure we have money, but what would you look to do if you were Lyke
