Two commitments - one from out-of-state, one local. Can't release details yet, but hope to have something out in a day or so.
Can you say if they're high school or transfers? If no, not worries. Appreciate all of your Pitt wrestling coverage.
I can't say too much, but one is starting at Pitt in the fall and one will be in 2023.

Santaniello grayshirted last year at the Naval Academy, or at least that's how it looks? Not sure how grayshirting would work at a service academy. He wrestled one event (at 133), the Bearcat Open and went 2-1 with a 5-3 loss to Rini from Columbia who has been ranked usually. Wrestlestat has him listed at 125 and redshirting next year FWIW.
This looks like a nice addition to compete with Camacho, Cuerbo, Chappell and AJ Crews for future lightweight roles. Am I missing anyone there?

Prep school year does not count against eligibility, so he'll be a true freshman, but says he's a 133-pounder, likely for his career.

Definitely! Dylan is No. 5 recruit in PA for 2023, according to PA Power and No. 59 in the nation at any weight according to MatScouts. PantherLair has a bit of a backlog on stories right now, so it might be a few days until I get the one on Evans posted, but it should be later this week. Hopefully, Santaniello will be up today or tomorrow.
I'm curious too. With Laffey, Evans, and Pletcher in the same class, I'll be curious to see how those middle weights will shake out.
