A year ago today, the Trib released an article where Gabel called Lyke "without a question one of the best athletic directors in the country."
The article mentioned that Lyke had been linked to AD jobs from OSU, Mich St, and USC with her contract expiring in 2024.
So how are we one year later in the same predicament without a resolution? How can we go into a new athletic year with an AD whose contract expires in the middle of it?
