QH had 1 KO TD in '15.
QH had 3 KO TD's and 1 PR TD in '16.
QH has 1 PR TD in '17.

I can find numerous players who had 8 total return TD's in their career (Ohio St's Ted Ginn, USC's Adoree Jackson, Rutgers' Janarion Grant, etc.), so with anywhere from 8 to 22 games left in his career, Quadree Henderson is 2 away from tying the all-time college return TD record.

Keep in mind two active players have 8 returns for touchdowns. Grant at Rutgers is a senior and Pettis at Washington is a Junior.

It's fun watching Quadree, but when your kick returner is your only offensive threat your team is in trouble.

Make matters worse the goal this year was to get him the ball more on offense, Watson can't even figure out how to get him the ball at all.

3 offensive touches (one rush, 2 receptions) yesterday for our one and only All-American player, who was on the field for nearly all of our measly 55 offensive snaps. For a player who would be the centerpiece of nearly every offense in America.

That's on the coaching.

Grant is a senior & currently has 8 (5 KO, 3 PR in 42 games).
Pettis is also a senior & has 8 (0 KO, 8 PR in 43 games).

Henderson is a junior & has 6 (4 KO, 2 PR) in 23 games.

Look at those numbers and tell me who you got when it's all said and done.

You would think he has a great chance

He is a special talent.

But, does anyone else think he is really odd this year in returning punts? He seems to back up 10 yards right away, like he is just trying to set the record instead of trying to get better field position? He has been super annoying to me this year.

I think he has an excellent shot at the record. He barely played his Freshman year due to injury. He's played in half the games the other kids with 8 have.

I'm not impressed with our WR coach at all. Henderson will be another one of those guys that goes to the NFL and plays better than he did in college once he gets decent coaching. He'll get drafted by the someone like the Patriots and catch 100 passes a year and we'll all be shaking our heads like always.

That is the truth, although the Steelers did get Conner!

He should get the record of course, but then you think how hard it is to actually return one in a single year. Doesnt happen too often, so getting 2 or 3 more could be difficult.

Although, as others have said, with our defense, he does goes plenty of chances

Whats a fake smiler?

Henderson (Jr) now has 7 return TD's in 28 games.

UW's Pettis (Sr) has 8 in 47.
RU's Grant (Sr) has 8 in 42.

The all-time record is 8. Henderson *could/should* make it double-digits by the time he becomes an NFL specialist.

Nah, Barkley is a combination of Barry Sanders and Bo Jackson. Or at least that's what that one nitter keeps insisting.

Many years ago had a co-worker literally want to fight me because I compared USC’s Reggie Bush to Eric Metcalf. I’ve been wrong many times but nailed that one.

I haven’t watched every moment of every PSU game, but never really got the whole Barkley thing. He’s obviously a very good back, but never saw him as revolutionizing the position like some have claimed. I know the mock drafts have him high, but they have had Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson as top 10 picks as well, and that is a joke.

If I recall correctly, Metcalf wasn’t really an every down player but was electric on ST and 3rd down situations.
