Some things that can be done right away....
1. Fire or Demote Mark Whipple.
ASAP. Make Beatty OC and see what he can do. Should keep his recruits in fold. Tell Whipple he can stay on as QB coach or leave.
2. Hire a consultant right now. Whether that’s Jerry Kill or another out of work coach and do a full evaluation of the football program.
3. Prepare Salem, Borberly, and Whipple if he’s still here that we will be moving on from them at seasons end.
4. Contact Joe Moorhead. Explain we want to keep Narduzzis class together and we realize we won’t get the new coach bump in regards to recruiting. Hire him as associate head coach and say when Narduzzi falters in 2021 he will our next coach.
5. Moorehead brings in Terry Smith and Limegrover in for his offensive staff paired with Beatty that’s a really good staff. Tell Smith he can be OC when Moorhead becomes head coach.
