1. Developing QB's: When will this administration wake up and figure it out. How many coordinators have we hired with NARDUZZI? What does that tell us???????

1a. Pickett: Bad and clearly it looks like he is not progressed at all!

2. Who decides opening at home with a good ACC Division Opponent: This is on the AD and or Narduzzi. Crazy we open up at home with a good division opponent with a young team.

3. Whipple: His game plan felt different, however 15 or so runs? Guys were open and I like at least the possibility of his offense being better.

4. Offensive Line: We all knew this would be a concern. Long way to go.

5. Defense: Finally, they kept us in the game. Loved how Paris played and our LB's. Overall our front 7....much improved. Again, we all saw Paris and his athletic ability.

6. QB Competition at Camp: Why did we not hear or see anything about it? If Pickett is our best option, it will be a long year.

7. Missed open receivers: He missed a lot, maybe 4-6 times plays that would have accounted for big gains.

8. Dropped Passes: Didn't help.

9. Overthrows: I don't care if it's the first or last game, way too many overthrows for a guy who as have a season to get it right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10. Outlook: This season can get ugly, quick if we don't see drastic improvements. Ohio is not going to be a "easy contest".

11. Narduzzi: Stop talking and start producing. Starting to get tired of his "garbage" and actions speak louder than words.

12. Lyke: Curious of what she is thinking right now. Remember, she signed Narduzzi to an extension in a year where he was under 500, right?

13. 11 more games (hopefully 12) to go :)

Happy Labor Day Weekend

I've been hearing that true frosh QB Davis Beville has looked impressive in practices. He's a 6'5" pro style QB who I think was ranked #11 nationally in that category. I'd rather see him get a chance sooner than later. If he is good, there might be hope for Pitt for years in the future.

Good post.

I slightly disagree with your first two points. On the first point, Narduzzi as you know is a defensive minded coach. The person who is suppose to develop the QB is the OC. Unfortunately we’ve had no stability there. On the second point, I agree that Virginia is a tough opener. However we were playing at home unlike Virginia.

All the rest of your points are spot on.

You can go all the way back to Walt regarding this comment. We've had Peterman and Stull in the last 15 years of classes covering 4 coaches.
