Hess and Franks

Does anyone know why Hess and Franks have been missing from the lineup the last 2 games? Seems like Tavarez is the real deal at SS but odd both those kids are out of the lineup unless they are hurt.

Hess got hit by a pitch in the last series - but finished the game. Hopefully taking extra caution vs. a serious injury.

I wonder if Tavarez is just earning playing time .

Didn’t Franks get spiked in n a Louisville players slide into 2nd? Finished the game, then hasn’t played since. Though I’d imagine Tavares performance has something to do with that
