He had a ND football be like and some stupid Steve Harvey face up on his twitter and then took it down immediately. Most people probably didn't see it.
Can't imagine all of those western pa recruits sticking with ND. Who would want to play for a douche like Kelly, even if he's not canned?
ND flat out sucks and is getting embarrassed weekly now. Maybe Kelly, if he is still there, can come in and clean up the best of the wpial 2018 class too. What the hell is wrong with these kids these days? Is it really that bad to stay home and be a star in front of all your hometown fans? Gee, if I were a 4 star recruit from Pittsburgh, and on the defensive side, the last place I would want to go now would be that dumpster fire ND. They might max out at 4 or 5 wins.
I have said before, I do respect the ND education, so if that is their main reason for the choice, well ok. But hell, if you care about football at all, how can you go there after what has transpired? Quite a few of these kids have offers from real winning programs, they must be rethinking their decisions. Adams, Jeter, Jurkovec, and Lugg all have many good alternatives to ND. Here is to hoping they come to their senses and consider the home team. The shine has come off the golden helmets out in South Bend, in fact, the luster has been dulling for quite some time now.

-ESPN completely ripped into Brian Kelly today and questioned why anyone would want to play for him. They said his personality is even worse then his coaching. And then said Kelly would find some way to blame Donald Trump the next time they lose since Kelly has already blamed everyone else he could blame. ESPN predicts Notre Dame will lose 8 or 9 games this year.

I hope he stays. Always good to have Charlie Sheen around causing trouble. Keeps the heat off everyone else.
It's the school, do you not get this???? I could be coaching ND and out recruit Pitt on my first try. It seems many of you never look a t the whole picture of anything.
I personally don't agree with that in my mind, I would choose Pitt over ND, but many won't and the school is why, the name. The name is junk these days to be honest in my opinion, sad but I'm in the minority

We all agree that ND is a great school. But, these recruits know all along that they can play for the hometown school and have a chance to be a hometown hero, and be part of getting them into the national spotlight, or go away and lose that 'hometown hero' moniker, no matter how good they are. If they do not 'feel that' and the parents are ok with traveling to see them play, then it is ok for them. Pitt cannot worry about things out of their control when they lose a local, they just must get national recruits that are just as good.

So Harvard, Cal, Vandy, Duke, any ivy school and a slew of others should be completely out recruiting notre dame?

Notre Dame is Notre Dame. Personally, I don't know why they don't sign every kid they want. 5-7 or 4-8 isnt going to cause players to decommit and go to Pitt. If Kelly gets fired, maybe Jeter reconsiders but I wouldn't bet on it.
Notre Dame is Notre Dame. A vastly overated dung pile with a big loud mouth, and a fat red faced idiot, leading the pile. They continue to gather talent every year from different places in the country, because kids fathers heard of ND being good in the past and dream of their little boy going there. When they finally get there, they are greeted by that red faced idiot, and he promptly gets little to anything out of them. They go through the process and wind up adding to the pile of dung, with few exceptions. ND are total has beens. The history and tradition only lasts so long. Even touchdown Jesus is tired of the failures and is ready to drop his arms!

Luckily recruits don't feel the same way. Sure living in flat, barren Indiana is attractive, but people go there cause they think Irish Catholic people should go there.
