Hokies making a comeback.

Wisconsin blew a 21 point lead. Clemson in the process of blowing a 21 point lead.

It is not a given that Michigan would get in over Penn State. With that said, PSU is dangerously close to the CFP right now. As a consolation, the Rose Bowl is pretty much in the bag.

Clemson is back up by 14. They will win and the CFP four will be OSU, Alabama, Clemson, Washington. Nothing PSU can do to make it in at this point. They don't deserve to be in over a Michigan team that destroyed them anyways.

The CFP committee will have tied themselves up in knots over the first three years trying to explain their decisions.

They got lucky this year that Washington and Clemson both won their conference titles because it gives them cover to do what they're going to do.

I just don't see how this system can stand the test of time, it's already become nothing but objectivity over results.

Conference championships and the "13th data point" meant something until it didn't. Unreal.

You can't put a 2-loss team in ahead of a 1-loss team that has a better resume.

PSU will finish #5. Michigan #6. As they should. Both are 2-loss teams with a loss to a borderline Top 25 team on their resume.

UDub's only loss is to the second-hottest team in the country, USC. 12-1 with a 31-point blowout win over #8 trumps 11-2 with a 7-point win over #6.
