1. Am I the only one who is getting board with the 53-48 games in college football?

2. Are the offensive schemes that much harder to defend-today, rules favor offense, or are most coaches offensive minded and frontload the o with best players? I’m thinking the schemes are better, but usually defenses adapt... like the red gun offense, run and shoot, west coast ,etc...defenses usually catch up to the scheme. Why hasn’t it the past 8 years in college football.

I remember 7-8 years ago watching the big 12 and saying I’m glad we aren’t in that league because of the lack of defense. Though the acc and all leagues seem to see increased scoring.

It has me missing the days where the punter was on the team and a good 28-21 contest was held.

Sun Bowl - 3 to 0?
No thanks

They have reached a critical mass with the rules and how they are enforced really handcuffing defenses. Also, offencive scouting and scheming is incredibly sophisticated now. I don't mind it over all, but the big 12 is definitely basically indoor football now.

It’s arena football........basically....really boring to me

1. Not a fan of track meets. It's fun for awhile, but eventually I want to see some good defensive plays.

2. All of the rules are in favor of the offense making defensive football much tougher to play. Even with this factored in, there is just a lot of sloppy football by defenders. Poor angles, bad tackling. The scheme has players in position to make stops, they just aren't executing. Probably due to the lack of physicality in practice.
