Apparently he got a committable offer today and jumped on it immediately. I am not sure how interested we were in him, but I have to wonder what he is thinking. It is nice to follow in your brother's footsteps, but those are big shoes to fill from a kid regarded as far less talented than his older brother. Additionally, Ohio St. has several kids in this class who play in the defensive backfield and are rated much higher than Marcus. A questionable commit from both him and Ohio St. It doesn't seem to fit from either perspective.

click bait...I was hoping for another prostitute story...

Yeah, that was clearly his dream to play where his brother did. Better than him committing to Pitt and then jumping ship a week before signing day.
Exactly what I was thinking. His brother probably loved it there and told him all about what it was like to play for osu. No surprise at all he then would want to go there. Would've been nice to get him here but I always thought he would end up there.

I assume that Raines would be a better secondary recruit than Hooker in the long run.

Funny how a lot of you recruiting gurus said he wasn't good enough and too slow when I asked why we didn't offer him a couple months ago. apparently tOSU didn't feel that way.

OSU is recruiting the best players in the country with the same scholarship limits everyone else has, while realistically trying to win a national championship every year. They currently have the #1 ranked recruiting class in the country. There is no charity or good will when they give a kids a full ride. They obviously think he's a player.

Don't want to burst any bubbles but he is slow as can be. Cement shoes. Looks like he is running under water.

So they just took him as a favor to his brother? Why do they like him, if they can get the cream of the crop?

Unless he's in reality going to be a perpetual gray shirt and his brother foots the tuition bill with his NFL millions (which case, kudos to my second favorite school for finding yet another brilliant manipulation of the system!) ... They wouldn't be offering him just to be nice.

Yes he is slow and and talented, but, nowhere the talent of his brother, maybe he thinks he has something to prove to someone by going there, maybe in his mind he is every bit as good as his brother, maybe he thinks he is an extension of Malik instead of making his own way somewhere else, he would have a better more realistic opportunity for early playing time elsewhere

Tell Urban. He apparently didn't get your talent evaluation memos. That or maybe hey're so desperate at OSU they'll take anybody.
