I want to preface this post with a disclaimer that I have done little to no investigation in this but when I saw this I was concerned with possible impacts to the Pitt BBall program.
Apparently, it has been requested as part of discovery that Zion disclose that he received "gifts" from Duke in return for his attending the university. That is all I know about this situation so far.
However, I know that Capel came to Pitt shortly after Zion signed with Duke. In fact some on here thought that the relationship between Capel and Zion may be so strong that he would follow Capel to Pitt (Obviously that didn't happen). So my question is how much backlash is Capel looking at if these allegations are indeed true.
So does anyone know how involved Capel was in the Zion recruitment, and if so is Pitt looking at any sanctions because of this?
