How many total wins after acc gets us in?

I think this team is more a bubble team than most of you. If they win one of the next 2 and the last 2, then definitely in. If they go 2 and 2, then they need one, possibly 2 in ACC tourney

Lol. So you're prognosticating that 11-7 in the ACC definitely gets us in? Thanks for the free lesson, sir.

10-8 and it's a done deal regardless of the ACCT. And I didn't feel that way a month ago. I'm now confident the ACC will get 8 in.

I disagree. If the go 2-2 they have a top 40 RPI and no bad losses. I think they're a lock with 2 more wins. 1 would be nervous.

I think 10 is the magic number regardless of how they get it.

I know what you both are saying. I am basing my view more on my feeling about this team. I would see a loss at VT or Ga T as bad based on where they are in the ACC.

They have to get to 68 teams. 2 locks this year are ineligible. Bad year for mid majors.

We are probably a 8-9 seed now. Even with one more win I don't know that we'd fall all the way out.

Some combo of two wins probably enough.

Put aside your feelings as a Pitt fan and look at the big picture. Like Whirlybird said they need to get to 68 somehow and 2 auto bids are out. Two ACC wins and Pitt is in no matter who they beat. One and win in the 1st round of the conference tournament should be enough as well.

If you see it from a national perspective and look at who the true bubble teams are at this point, you'll feel a lot better about Pitt's chances.
