How Studid Are These NFL People They Have The World By The.......

“These people”? Defensive backs?

I remember Baker being mentioned as a Steelers 1st round pick. Dodged that bullet. No pun intended.
NFL people. Players are people too. We forget that sometimes?
They have the world by the …, your hobby, your dream, is your job, which you're well compensated to play.
Thought that would have been obvious.
So I added that to the thread title.
NFL people.

Smart NFL teams should run background checks on new players, review HS and college records. There must be some evidence that something like this could be in the cards.

This costs nfl teams millions, and opportunity to win.

Rich people committing crimes isn't something exclusive to NFL players.
That's true.
But I haven't noticed Investment Bankers sticking up people, with guns ever.

If you going to commit a crime and throw your career away make it count. Big money.
A crime like securities fraud, imbezelment, one that gets you a lot of money that you can hide while you serve your sentence in a minimum security prison.

Armed robbery gets you small money and hard time in a max security prison.

My point is you beat the odds of making it or not making it to pro ball, you life's dream has come true, your hobby is your job, you're making millions and you screw it up.

What I find most amazing is that Aol is still operating.

I agree with that.
But we made a ton of money back in the .com tech stock boom.
We got into AOL in the beginning and sold just before the tech boom commited suicide.
AOL was a high flyer.
No more its a dog.

Verizon owns AOL, and they use the name for a lot of their on line stuff. For instance I think if you have Verizon as your ISP and you get an email address from them you get an AOL email address.
The second most amazing thing is that Verizon is still in operation.

That's like Sears and Kmart merging.

I don't understand your comparison? Is there some new technology that's making cell phones and the internet obsolete that I haven't heard about? Even Starlink is supposed to serve as a backbone for wireless carriers and not some type of replacement.

I was referring to what both companies had in common - internet providers. The folks that I know who had Verizon internet in Pa didn't like it. Maybe it's a function of where I live, because to my knowledge Verizon isn't an available choice, but Verizon internet is far down the list of providers I'd think of.

“Should I take the $1000 now or stay out of trouble and make $10000000 in a few years? Eh, I’ll take the money now.”

True, but if you combine Verizon's landline, business, and wireless they are probably the 2nd largest internet provider in the US after AT&T.

I was honestly going to post today that our resident racist, BuffetParrothead/PittFamily2/PITTF2/PittBus. would be jumping for joy over this and here it is. This guy is a disgrace. We all know what he is.

Very little profit in cable providers. That’s why cutting the chord doesn’t hurt companies like Verizon. They make most of their money with internet.

nfl players are stupid but their job is to run into people so you need to be big and fast and the less intelligence you have, the better. That’s why I expect stories like this and thankfully, these Neanderthals don’t let me down. Take the garbage out and bring in a new one to take his place. No one will be missed. ,

Maybe they were protesting the bank? Apparently you can freely brandish a weapon anywhere now with your face covered. And you’re white.

Anyone of any race, or religion can as long as open carry is legal in that state.

And you dont use the weapon to take someone else's property against their will in the process.

I believe that's called armed robbery which isnt legal in America.

Verizon Fios is by far the best internet service I’ve had
