Huggins daughter...holy hell

The best line ever might be he didn't have a ton of beer cans in the car from drinking...he was picking up litter...

That's why he only blew a .0021 on the breathalyzer.

Huh? What? Are you sure? Really? .21? Oh, that's completely different.

Never mind.

I liked this one:

“Dad, why do you always have a trash bag of cans in the car?”

“Uh..I uh…love to recycle!”

Good on him for driving to Pittsburgh to clean up after the swift concert.

As an aside I grew up pretty poor. As a kid I used to pick up soda cans on the side of my road and then my mom would drive me to NY (I grew up northwest pa) and I got a nickle for most cans and a dime for some. So I couldn't help but think of how his daughter on one hand is bragging about hospital donations and how much money he is worth to the university but also arguing he is a recycling environmentalist and reminding me of my childhood grabbing nickles and dimes.

Where was he after Chesney? He must regret picking the wrong weekend. He cost himself a lot of money.

I’m torn because she’s dumb, but kinda hot. Her Instagram is filled with pictures of her and a fat loser. But, if you think she’s hot like me, maybe it gives hope to fat losers. Regardless, her rambling isn’t a good look.
I just crept on her insta. She has a cat. That’s an automatic no from me.

"... not an alcoholic, he drinks like 90% of us do..." Maybe 90% of the toothless hillbillies in WV.

I mean, he knowingly downed at least a half case of beer, while driving alone, for nearly 2 hours from somewhere in Ohio to Pittsburgh (not his home - which was still another 90 miles away) - and he knowingly set out to do so, with a fully stocked cooler of cold ones. If that's not the literal definition of an alcoholic, I don't know what is. It certainly isn't social drinking. And it certainly isn't something 90% of us do.

I kind of agree with her. I am not a fan of double punishments. This country has laws to deal with Huggins's actions. If there is a concern that he is incapable of leading young men, that that is a valid reason to fire him. But its West Virginia. He should be able to live his life anyway he wants unless he is harming someone. Now, I totally get he could have killed someone what he did was really really serious. But luckily he didnt. And that matters. It was a terrible mistake but one he got away with. Had this been some politician, this wouldn't have deterred many voters from deeming this person still capable of leading a nation, state, district, etc. But its an insignificant basketball coach and we hold these guys to higher standards than leaders of our nation. I think that's so wrong. I dont like WVU but Huggy is a good guy with a bad problem. Getting him into rehab and a suspension would have been sufficient here.

I think people are missing out on the real crime here. He stopped at Burger King!! There can be no worse fast food place than that.
As someone who’s enjoyed the former Burger King in Natrona Heights, it’s immediate closing without reason or explanation shook me to my core. This is mainly because I never saw an adult working in that place, and teenage kids are usually gross. It literally made me think twice about if any of these restaurants are really clean. Your point is well taken.

Restaraunts are generally filthy places. None of the employees have paid sick days so your cook might have the flu, and can't afford a day off. You should always go to the bathroom before eating at a new restaraunt. If it's not clean in there, where the public can see it, you can bet it's even worse behind the scenes.

He will have the right to apply for the job of basketball coach at WVU or elsewhere in the future. He made multiple bad choices that cost him his dream job. He is also a 70? year old multi-millionaire. This is not someone who will end up sleeping in the streets due to losing his employment.

I don't feel bad for him. I just don't understand why we double punish people. It ended up being a victimless crime luckily.

If you got pulled over for drunk driving in a company issued vehicle, you would be terminated as well. Working is a privilege, not a right, so the argument that he’s being punished twice doesn’t carry much weight. You could argue though that he is being punished once, by 2 separate entities.
