OK, lets say Miller totally wants the job, looks Heather in the eye, swears that he did not know anything about Book was doing, the wiretap was a completely false report, and he says he is 100% certain he wont be involved in the FBI stuff because he did nothing wrong. What if Matta and others vouch for him? What if Lyke vets him completely and is confident? What if Miller says this would be his last job. He wants to coach here for 20 years and make Pitt into a power again and do it CLEANLY.
Man, I'd take Miller over Hurley if I was completely confident he wont be caught up in the FBI stuff. I do really like Hurley but you're naive to think he would stay if he had real success. That doesn't mean we shouldn't NOT hire a coach because we'd be scared he'd leave but if one guy is saying he'd stay forever and is an alum and local boy and the other will certainly leave after a couple NCAAT's, wouldn't you go with the guy who'd stay?
