We are not getting Reid. No reason for all this drama if the choice is Pitt. There seems to be other things involved so I’ve lost hope.

I'm convinced Efton doesn't really exist.
I had that thought for a moment. What if this was all just the most elaborate troll job of all time?
Samuel Beckett could have written a play about Pitt fans awaiting Efton Reid.
If he does not exist, then I can guarantee he commits to Pitt.
Efton Reid anagrams to “No Fit Deer”. Somehow this related to Rudolph and his Red Nose, I am most certain.

What’s the reason for all the drama if another school was the choice?
My personal take based on almost absolutely nothing is that mom likes Capel and wants him to go to Pitt and Reid prefers somewhere else. She seemed to call the commit date and he hasn't committed (twice) so there's probably some disagreement there. She can encourage him to sign but can't make him. That's why we have two false starts. Only thing that I can really come up with.
Not a bad theory, especially since most of her “likes” on Twitter are from Pitt fans.
I have thought that as well. Even if money isnt involved, a top prospect like that, you'd think would have stars in his eyes and be attracted to a place like FSU
He should go to the place with the most familiar people. It’s only going to be 1 year most likely. 1 freaking year of a long life. Hitch a ride with Capel and learn about hoops and life skills. Very comfortable setting and again it’s only a year and it will come and go in the blink of an eye
Whats weird to me is how his mother says "mama bear has spoken". That just rubs me the wrong way. No matter what the choice is, it makes it seem like its her choice
So why isn't there a job created in the Pitt Athletic Department for Mama Bear? Recruiting compliance officer or something like that. She can get paid to ensure that players like Efton don't.
Yeah, if you’re gonna set someone up with a job, a job at the university in any respect is pretty much the worst possible employer to pick.
That’s possible. Somewhere, Mama Bear is counting Will Wade’s 5th bag of money and laughing her ass off.
Wherever Efton is, I’m sure Mante Teo’s girlfriend with leukemia is by his side..
