He’s 6’5”, too. Good height for a jump shooter.

It won't get interesting for fans until Pitt lands some of them and we have some idea whether there is any quality among the additions.

Problem is that geography is acting against eastern schools, not sure how he got to SC but it says he is from Berkley.

Totally loved that Roche kid though. 8 3s on the road in his first ever game? 6'5? How the flying eff did he not get better offers than The Citadel? My God if you are 6'5 and can walk, you're P6 if you can shoot like that? Was he a Center in AAU or HS? WTF.

This is why I keep saying someone needs to develop a standardized 3 point shooting test/metric. Guys like Roche and the Edert kid and the Micah Mason types shouldn't slip through the cracks. You have to be able to make 3s. There needs to be spots on the roster for high level shooters

Edert averaged 9.8 points per game playing in the MAAC. He had 2 points today.

He averaged 9.8 points per game against low level D1 opponents. His average would only go down playing against better competition on a regular basis. If you want a spot player coming off the bench, then okay. But slobbering over him is ridiculous.

The MAAC is mid-major, not low major. Edert very very clearly would have started for us. I don't care what his average is. The kid is an elite shooter. If you give me 2-3 elite shooters on a team, you can fill in with the non-shooters.
