I called Comcast

Called on Monday night and spoke to someone using the name “Eli” (if you catch my drift).... took me 5 minutes to get through to him that it was the ACC NETWORK and not ABC or ADD.... Put me on hold, came back and assured me that Comcast would have a deal in place by the launch of the network and that it was owned by ESPN. I would imagine Comcast will eventually get a deal done, it may just come down to the wire
I called Comcast last week, and their agent whom I was connected to said that Comcast recently sent a proposal to Disney (the parent company of ESPN), and they’re waiting for a response.

The guy spoke as though he was quite knowledgeable about this subject (he said that he was a huge SEC/Kentucky fan), and he expected them to have an agreement prior to the formal launch of the ACCN.

That "proposal" language was literally word for word what Comcast instructed their employees. I called twice and they both read it word for word so I wouldn't make much of that. I still say Comcast will have it at launch.

I called ATT again about the CBS "credit" that some have talked about, and they issued one for me (I didn't tell him that I don't watch anything on that network outside of a few college football games in the fall).

He initially said he was going to send an HD over the air antenna for me to use until the situation is resolved, and then told me that was only for Directv boxes, and wouldn't work on ATT UVerse equipment.

I brought up the ACCN once again, and asked him to put a request in for the channel to be in place well before the season starts. But, it didn't sound promising.

Just for fun, I called Comcast to see how much my internet would go to if I canceled cable. $89.95.

Hulu would cost me $59.97 for a similar size DVR and unlimited screens so that's $149.92 but that's without premium channels. I currently get all the premium channels and my total bill is $200 after taxes and fees. I probably just need HBO and Showtime so that's an extra $25.98 which brings my total Hulu + Comcast Internet bill to $175.90 before taxes and fees. Essentially, Hulu + internet would cost the same as I'm paying now. Remember when everyone said cord-cutting is the way to go? If you need a DVR, sports channels, multiple TVs, and HBO/SHO, there's no cheap way.

You're doing it wrong.

I have Hulu live for $40 (why would you need a DVR with Hulu?) and added HBO thru prime for $15. I have comcast internet as well for 90.

I pay 145 v. 200+
