taking a job at a new school out West for a sizeable amount of money. He may see the longer he stays here the lower his stock gets, and to get out while he can.

If he does hopefully he does it quickly, and maybe Pitt can get Howland back

not even the worst team in Division 1 wants Wanny. Not the same with Howland now is it?

Neither is coaching. My point is, why do Pitt fans always want retreads? makes us seem foolish. Plenty of good young coaches out there. I hope Dixon doesn't leave though, we are on a lot of good recruits right now, plus, his buyout would be enormous, I just can't see what you suggest happening.

buyout? I didn't say Dixon would be fired I suggested he may leave.

Also Howland isn't a retread, but as long as they get a good coach I wouldn't care who it is

What school, watching this game, would give Dixon more money than he currently is getting. You smoking something silly.

You must be high. Dixon is under contract with Pitt through 2023. Should he leave...it will require the new school to pay off his contract or the agreed upon buy out. Who would pay upwards of $10+ million for the right to hire Dixon...then pay him $3 million or more a season? NOBODY. Pitt and Jamie are tied at the hip for many years to come. Hopefully he does not pull an Agnus and can get the train back on the tracks. Otherwise, it is going to get really ugly. Hail to Pitt!

thanks for telling me that! Now its time to hit the bottle....

There really is a part of me that kind of wants to see Dixon leave, and for the program to go back to the Ralph Willard type days.
