I didn't watch the game because it wasn't on here . . .

just as I was unable to watch the VT game on Wednesday. But in hindsight, I am probably better off, given that the Panthers lost both. I'm not sure that a Moe's Woes is even an appropriate post right now.

I looked at the box score and read the recap on Yahoo! sports page. 0-11 from 3 pt - fewer rebounds - only 6 assists. How were we ever up at halftime? What happened from first half to second, other than the obvious?

4-6 record in the last 10 games. 9-9 in conference. only 20 wins, so far.

Lose first round in ACCT = NIT. Go 1-1 in ACCT might get us a play-in game in Dayton for an 11 or 12 seed. Go 2-1 in ACCT and we're in.

Actually, Moe, because the opener was against D-2 St. Joseph's, I'm pretty sure the NCAA only officially has us at 19 wins. I know D-2 wins don't count towards RPI and I don't think they count for NCAAT consideration either. CBS hasn't counted it in their rankings.

GT played an awful game. The fact that we lost to them should tell you all you need to know. Michael Young and to a lesser extent Jeter were it today for Pitt. The rest of the team stunk and that's being kind.

Ouch! Then clearly, we DO need to win a couple of games next week to assure a spot in the NCAAT
