I watched a little of the first half and all of the second half.
Obviously two teams not that good, with Pitt being the
better of the two. We had more talent and despite being
down at the half, outscored them 20-2 in period 3.

This was the best I've seen of our transfer pg, Myles.
She had seven pts. and had an A/TO ratio of 4/1. That's
more like it, but she wasn't really challenged too much.
As a team we only had 10 TO's. Improvement yes, but
you have to consider the competition. We won the game
at the free throw line, 22-28 to their 5-6. Both teams
made 18 FG's, but they were 10-34 while we were 1-11
on 3's. I keep asking on here why is MAlcolm not
doing more? Today, 9 minutes, no pts and offer from
the field. St, Pete had no answer for Faye on the
inside, 24 pts. The REAL fun begins next game.
It's ACC time, Miami coming to town...OUCH!

I saw where Pitt scored 7 points in the 1st quarter. Fortunately St. Peters only scored 8.

Also, we got zero points from our bench… Yikes.

I think me and Joe are the only ones who go to the games on here, but Pitt is simply.....not good. Injuries/expulsions/etc haven't helped, but they're not going to win many ACC games lol

"Many"?..... If they stay close in even one ACC game
I'd be surpried. I did notice your LOL.

You guys really are good fans attending
their games. I live several hours away and can see their
games only on tv, and not in person. I agree with your
assessment, "they're not good" and the "injuries/
expulsions/etc haven't helped." I can't tell about Verdi's
effectiveness given these circumstances. He was
successful at Eastern Michigan and UMass. He
improved each program from losing programs to
ones winning 20 plus games. With that said, he has
to recruit an entirely differrent player to compete
in the ACC. Of course he knows this...can he do it?

I didn't go yesterday. I don't understand scheduling a home game at the same time as a Stiller home game.

It's bad enough having to watch them play, don't make me sit in traffic too!

I haven’t made it to a game yet this season — I always seem to have a conflict, like Steeler games…. But Pitt has been hard to watch for a long while, the scoring droughts are maddening, so I guess I’m just not feeling that motivated to get to the Pete.

I wasn’t impressed with the transfers who we brought in — seemed like they hadn’t done much where they were previously. I guess Faye has been pretty good though.

I could be wrong but I actually was impressed with the recruits lined up for next year. Seemed like some potential there. Fingers crossed.

Last sentence says it all.
