I dont think Pitt has ever won 6 conference games in a season

We can do thaf on Saturday. I do think the old BE was significantly more difficult than the Coastal but I would say the Coastal compares favorably to the BE after the 1st ACC raid and I dont think we ever finished better than 5-2.

Are you talking about the 1990's - when Miami and Virginia Tech and even Syracuse were powerhouse, and Pitt stunk?
Or more recent years, such as 2006 or 2008?

Some other years I'm not to sure about that.
Anyways, yeah winning 6 Big East games could be kind of tricky by default just because there were usually only 7 of them a season.
