I hate Notre Dame. Now I feel better. I am not very proud of myself for feeling that way at my age but I don't care, I needed to get that off my chest. Full disclosure, I am 52 and was raised by a grandfather that hated Notre dame. One of my earliest memories was my grandfather coming in and turning off the television because I was watching the Lindsay Nelson Notre dame football show. "We don't ever watch that team in this house unless they are playing Pitt" is what he said to me. Thanks for raising me the right way Grandpa Ernie. Can't wait till tomorrow. Here are 10 reasons to hate them
1. If you see someone tomorrow with a Notre dame shirt on and a Yankee hat, chances are they are a complete tool.
2. Joe Theisman. Enough said
3. Get every call known to man kind. Cleveland Gary fumble on goalie and K'waun Williams PI call come immediately to mind.
4. Rudy the movie. Read joe starkly article yesterday about crying watching the movie, I wanted to puke.
5. Regis Philbin and Dick Vitale always drooling over ND
6. Really un attractive coeds. I challenge a recruit to visit south bend on a non college football Saturday. It is depressing
7. Brian Kelly. Pretty sure he believes he invented football.
8. The mascot. Obnoxious ginger!
9. Lou Holtz no explanation needed
10. And finally, the subway alums. Biggest bandwagon fan base going
