I don’t know about you, but at the end of the day, I LOVE PITT FOOTBALL. I grew up in the era where Pitt was good. We played good teams and beat them. I used to go the games with my dad on Saturday after noons and climb cardiac hill and sit in the bowl and watch as we beat teams week in and week out.
I loved halftime when fans would sit and wait for the score of the PSU game and cheer when they were down. I watched Marino, Ironhead, Aldisert, McCall, Gadsden, Spindler, Flynn.....so many greats.... Collins, Siragusa, Brown, Tuten, Dawkins, Richards.......
I’d love to see us return to the glory days when we looked forward to each week and the season ended in a good bowl game. I want to be ranked again and enjoy the spoils of being a great program. Can’t wait for the season to start!
