I thought it was really great of Penn State last night to give out free tickets

I thought the Big 10 said no people at all, why was there even anyone in the stands?

The Big Ten is allowing families of players to attend games. The people on the Penn State side were family members of Penn State players and coaches. The people on the Ohio State side were family members of Ohio State players and coaches. They are allowing that at all games where the local authorities permit.

As an example there were 1300 people at the Ohio State - Nebraska game last weekend. A couple of the other games had close to 1000. A couple more were around 500. Yesterday Penn State and Iowa both had around 1500. It looks like couple places (Rutgers and Maryland) might not have allowed anyone.

Speaking of attendance, Pitt-ND had about 4,000 more fans than PSU-OSU. Who would have ever predicted that a Pitt home game would outdraw PSU in any home game, much less OSU? Has the apocalypse arrived?
