It is his fault. Offensive coordinator couldn't coach at North Hills. Complete and utter buffoon. Who the hell runs the ball when the D has 11 guys and a Boy Scout troop on the line??? The defense plays press coverage but then the DB's don't even touch the WR's at the snap. They get beat immediately off the line. The worst is that they just keep doing it over and over and over and over and...sorry, insert jet sweep here.

Canada didn't really change up the playcalling. UNC forced Peterman to throw out routes rather than stuff over the middle. Just one of those passes that Peterman failed to find the receiver on would have sealed that game.

I loved the 3rd down and 8 swing pass to conner to the short side of the field. WTF.
If you want to run swing passes on that down, do it to a wr or back that can make somebody miss.

Canada is doing a great job, but this is two straight weeks. Gotta put the blame on Narduzzi though as much as I love him. Canada can't be thinking what the defense will do afterwards, but Narduzzi will.

The problem is Narduzzi might actually like defense too much. If you seriously think Peterman can't hit Orndoff over the middle on 3rd and 4, you are an idiot. He is not a bad QB. Missed some really easy throws on 3rd and shorts yesterday, but that's different than a simple pass to the middle.

So Narduzzi insists of putting the defense out there to win games for him. The offense is out there dominating the game, putting up a ton of points, and he still wants to make it all about the defense. This pathetic defense is holding us back so much it's infuriating.

Seriously.... your defense has been historically pathetic this season. How many times do they have to get torched before you stop having so much faith in them? What else does the offense have to do before you give them some more faith?

Here's my short take on it.... I would trust Peterman way, way, way more to make a couple simple throws to win a game. I'd trust that more than our defense to stop anything..... whether it be a 9 yard drive or 99 yards. It's moronic that Narduzzi thought our defense would win the game either of the last two weeks.

It sucks to think this, but he needs to coach assuming that the defense is going to give up a touchdown next drive. 3rd downs need to be way more aggressive and if it comes down to it, gonna have to go for it on some 4th downs. It's totally unacceptable for this team to not be 4-0 right now.​

Earlier in the game on 3rd and manageable they spread 5 wides with no one in the backfield. And if I remember they got the 1st down. Shoulda tried that because the 3rd down calls late in the game have been horrid.

Agree. Peterman missed those throws late, but looked pretty damn good overall yesterday. Henderson and Orndoff are really good weapons. This team is more than capable of doing that on most 3rd and 5's. It's just mind boggling the lack of faith, yet so much faith in a defense that can't just simply avoid melting down in the most pathetic fashions imaginable.
