Obviously this will get responses and deservedly so. Lots of guys have been here forever. I have been under different monikers. Striker28, IamHeisenberg and now Duneaux. Lost my Striker28 password when I logged off after a NCAA tourney loss and couldn’t recover password.
I know a lot of people didn’t like him but I loved SimmerDunna. He was a hoops guy who had some kind of local tie in and he was always honest and didn’t care how you responded. PittBasketballInsider reminds me of him a little bit but Simmer didn’t have the brashness that PBI seems to.
I used to always like how the Lair would actually have a top section that listed all of the people who were on line at that time. I believe the record was after a Pitt loss in the tourney one time. I don’t think it was the Nova game but some other game where we were shocked we lost because we may have been the top seed.
Huh? Simmer was one of the brashest and most obnoxious posters ever on this board.
It’s funny. I just never felt that but I guess it depends on whether you challenged him.

Kiwi came to mind for me too. He got suspended from going at it with Poker (imagine that) and forgot about it. Got reinstated, posted a bit and disappeared again.
I doubt he’s still around but who knows.
Kiwi just had kids at that time I think. Raising kids takes your time away from important things like message boards.

I am going with the regulars old dudes who have seen it all : DT, Chair, Harve, NTOP, Crazy Paci, and Matt. They have been around as long as I have. There are some guys that have gone away. I liked HGP even though he became controversial

It’s amazing there’s been a consistent group of posters that have been keeping this community active for over twenty years. Kudos to that group!

I recall Shrugged in Atlas or something like that. Seemed to have some good info. Perhaps more on the football side of things.
Started posting in 2003 as Panthers76 but after 2015 lost my password. Stayed away during Stallings but I did read occasionally to see what was up and DT dribbles. Nice to have something to be interested in again.
He doesn’t bother me. He has never been a dick to me. I can’t stand posters that just talk crap about what you post but don’t offer any actual insight of their own. Basically about the 10 or so trolls I have on ignore on this board.
