-We have a big time future point guard in the making, and not talking about his size here at 6'5. This kid is a lot faster than I can remember. Fast ball movement, pushes the pace, good control, way faster pushing the pace than JROB (Not a knock on JROB either). Just a lights out jumper away.... Coming off injury too, he looks great. Could he start later on in the year? Perhaps. He has it. You can see it.

-Cam Johnson also looks really good for a frosh at 6'7. These two could form a very, very dangerous backcourt in the future if Johnson can play faster and put the ball on the floor better and develop his two skills.

-We have a very good young nucleus with these two freshmen. Luther needs to protect the interior passing lane better and work on his positioning, but he isn't dead in the water yet. Flashing potential, but a work in progress.

-Congrats Dixon, I am confident in saying you have righted the ship. Young, Artis, and Jeter only juniors. This team is making the NCAA's. Better 3 point shooting we can get to the Sweet 16.

Wilson hit a 3ball and had a nice drive to the hoop and scored 7 with 5 rebs in just 11 minutes.

Yeah, he looked good and may be the man off the bench as time moves along here. Dixon did play both him and Milligan at the same time though, with Jonathan playing the off guard slot.

I think Luther is gonna be OK as long as he doesn't come up against bigs that have a significant size advantage over him. He mostly did good stuff out there that I saw.

Yeah, Cam Johnson is looking real good. Hard to believe he is just a RS freshman. Dixon is playing him at SF though spelling Artis.

Jones and Artis though are struggling. Sometimes happens this time of year.

Jeter... along the lines of last year... takes a while to get warmed up. Didn't do much in the first half but played much better in the second and ended up with a double double.. and some other good plays to boot.

ANO has a foul problem right now. In the Zag game and fouled out in this one with just 11 minutes. Dixon played MY 4 minutes at C to get Jeter more time and we may be seeing more of that. I will say one thing though, I saw both ANO and Maia doing a nice job on the hedge and THAT is a welcome improvement over last year.

The refs seemed really whistle happy, even considering the new rules emphasis. Way too ticky tacky in what was called for my tastes. There has got to be a happy medium between preventing too much physical play and almost making it impossible to play any meaningful level of defense. I hope things adjust a little over the course of the season.
