Doing some quick math, if Pitt lands Mychale Salahuddin and Habakkuk Baldonado today, that would put the 2018 class at 20 commits with a total of 1,632 points on the Rivals rating scale. That would eclipse the 2017 class (1,561 points) and fall just short of the 2016 group (1,678 points). It would also move the class from No. 44 to No. 31 nationally; of course, Signing Day commitments to the other teams around Pitt could change where the Panthers ultimately fall in that ranking, but there's a good chance that Salahuddin and Baldonado could move Pitt into the lower 30's.
