on that last play, I think there is a 50/50 chance he scores. Didn't look like it at the game, but I just saw the replay and I think he had the angle on the two guys at the goal line. Another DB came off his man and would have had to make a hell of a tackle in space.

I also mentioned the pass where Reid was brought down by a shoestring tackle that was a touchdown if he didn't have to adjust a split second to catch the ball slightly behind him.

Lastly, on that second Clemson TD it looked like the rushing defender could have dove and knocked the ball out of Klubnik's hand. Game of inches, indeed.

On the long QB run for TD, one of our DL had a chance at the line, half way there McMillon was completely unblocked but did not come close (surprisingly)

When the completely non-biased announcers were besides themselves with the bad calls against Pitt, you know the calls were bad.

How many times did Clemson tackle our QB and put the full weight on him and no call. I am still trying to figure out why Matlack was flagged.

Reids catch which he tiptoed down the sidelines and missed the td marker by a hair... THE BALL SHOULD HAVE BEEN PLACED A HAIR AWAY FROM THE GOAL LINE!! They reviewed it, they see his foot was clearly in bounds, they see he reaches out in bounds and nearly hits the orange pilon, and they say "welp, he didnt reach it, ball back to the 2.5. I was screaming at the TV. It made no sense.

The Clemson catch for a first down in the first half the replay clearly shows he was short of the yard line, clearly... the announcers say he is short, yet they gave a first down, there was NO review at all. It would have been fourth down on clemsons 30... no way they go for it, they would have punted, instead, they drove for a score.

Reid at the end when he nearly got a first down, the clock didnt stop for a measurement, the ref put it short, no review again, no nothing. Sure, Narduzzi should have burned the TO quicker, but the fact is there were 2 called reviews all game... both were for a Clemson benefit. Sure, we committed dumb penalties by young guys clearly nervous, and Poppi Williams dropped like 5 passes, but we were the better team, and stats showed that.

Or if Poppy WIlliams catches a perfectly thrown pass for a TD. Or many other plays. Coaches put the players in position to win, just need to execute better overall.

Well, sometimes they do anyway.

Was that catchable? We were saying it looked like it went right through his hands (again) and he never saw it but it was right on the money. But I didn't get to see it on TV so I don't know. Talking about the one in the South End Zone. I know the one in the North End Zone was there, but I believe the defender blocked his view.
