hire Pitt's offensive coordinator who would it be and why (this isn't a negative post on Whipple) just to create conversation...

one guy I would love to see as OC at Pitt is David Cutcliffe. I like the offense he runs, it's great for college. He's a proven QB guy. His offense put up yards and points at Duke and his offensive recruiting would probably see a bit of an uptick at Pitt compared to Duke.

If we are in an imaginary world of current, college coaches then I’d say Lincoln Riley has the best offensive mind.

Oh, Canada ... come home as our OC.

I'll take Andy Reid or Kyle Shanahan. In fact, give me Andy as OC with Shanahan as run game coordinator.

Matt Canada and Walt Harris. Walt had the best vertical passing scheme and Canada had a great mix of innovative run and play-action.

Archie “Gunslinger” Cooley...the creator of the five wide receiver, run and shoot, west coast offense.

Somebody that runs a space and pace offense, or I’d settle for the Air Raid.

But PN would want something not so extreme and still fits within his mentality. The OC at North Dakota State seems like a perfect blend. And I love what they throw at you. It’s a simple offense yet schematically they are hitting you with a ton to take in.

That would be my realistic best hire.

Would be interested to see what his did at a school that didn't have a stock pile of 4 and 5 stars... maybe he'd be great and would bring more to Pitt.

Canada was a loss, but from what I've heard he isn't a great QB coach and based off Maryland idk if his offense was as electric as it was at Pitt. I think he benefitted greatly from the personnel that was in place.

Two great coaches. I love Shanahan. Would be interesting to see how his run game fit in college, which is primarily a pass/spread attack.

I love watching Mike Leach's air raid. But I don't want that as my offense. Bad weather games never go well with that offense. Ie Pitt VT 2019.

Do you discredit everything he did prior to Pitt?

He almost and should have beaten osu when at Maryland.

BTW, the talent wasn't that great when was at Pitt. It was good but outside of the OL and a 75% Conner, it was above average.
