Friday I just drove around the city with my family site seeing and just admiring the scenery. It was very different it being mountain terrain, it was different for me but I really liked the city”, said Ifedi. “Pittsburgh is very historic and unique, I’ve never seen anything like it. Seeing Heinz Field and the lakes was very exiting, there was a lot of things that made it one of a kind!”

Ummmm, what?

A little easier to understand how this kid made that mistake. Brister not knowing they are rivers is a whole 'nother thing. Afterall, he did live here and played football in Three RIVERS Stadium.

he is the last offer canada has out there for qb's. all his other offers have already gave a verbal somewhere else.

Good old Bubster. He was a quote machine.

"I can outrun him and I can out throw him". Bubby on the QB competition with Neil O'Donnell

"The wind coming off the lake". Bubby on the swirl patterns in 3 Rivers.

No big deal; innocent and harmless speaking error by the kid... Although, when standing at the point surrounded by calm waters looking at Heinz Field, it can certainly feel like you are in the middle of a lake, rather than at a confluence.

Agree. The system of locks and dams in the Pittsburgh area do indeed create pools along the river that are very much like "lakes"...

Go Pitt.

Wow. Picking apart the statement of a 16 or 17 year old HS junior is ten times worse than saying lakes instead of rivers.

Watching this kid's film has me hoping he verbals to Pitt. Huge, huge arm. Throws it 50 yards effortlessly, looking like he is softly guiding a touch pass to a back on a swing pass. If he wanted to, he looks like he could throw it 70 yards. Moves well in the pocket, and has speed, and is considered a duel threat. 6'4", so he has ideal size. He has NFL potential.

Agreed - love his tape.

Ya, we're killing this kid with all of our insulting comments. Give me a break.

I get the reference, but bubby couldnt have passed the hiring process to be a janitor at an ivy league school, much less get recruited to play at them.
