The yellow seats make it look mu ch emptier than it is.
I don't disagree. But it is why 40k at Heinz looks much worse than the <40K in that picture from mountaineer field.I think what the yellow seats do is expose how empty it actually is. A different color seats might help hide that, but the places that you see yellow seats are actually empty. So it really isn't making it look emptier than it is, it's just not hiding the fact.

It's why 15,000 at Bucco games in 2011 didn't look that bad.I agree, the visuals of the 30,000 people at Heinz look worse than the 30,000 people at Hoopieville.
Other than putting more people in the yellow seats there really isn't anything we can do about that though.
It's why when it comes time to replace the seats, which is not that far in the future, judging by the wear and tear..... they should all be replaced with the gray color from the club level.
True. That YSU game in the heat was like sitting on a beach with no umbrella. The other thing is that on a bright sunny September afternoon those yellow seats make it feel about ten degrees hotter than it really is. There's a reason that almost no one else has seats that color, and it isn't just the happenstance of the color the home team wears.
Exactly. The yellow seats make it look mu ch emptier than it is.
If Heinz had gray or navy seats, nobody would talk about the attendance.
Scaz agree 100%, only horse in town.. PATHETIC those eers !And the fact that you can't "spread out" in singular seats.. the bench seats add quite a bit to making a place look full.
