Of Conner and his recovery from Hodgkin lymphoma, Dorsett said, “To see this man back at the top of the mountain is quite a story. I have nothing but the utmost respect for him as an athlete and a human. “All of a sudden, the doctor tells you you have cancer. You know what most people (associate with) cancer? Death, unfortunately. This man just fought and said, ‘I'm going to come back better than I was before.' To see that happen, what a testament to his will. A great story for kids.”
