Malik Verdon is a 2021 prospect that was on Pitt's radar for a while, he never got an offer, but had things worked out a little different this summer he may have. Verdon visited Pitt last Fall and has been talking to Randy Bates for a few years now. At 6-4 he could play WR or find a spot on defense, Verdon definitely has some versatility. He is committed to Miami (OH) but Pitt and Iowa State have recently offered, and a few more power-five schools could as well. I'll be reaching out to him today and see what I can gather.
