Craig Meyer and I were sitting around after he spoke to the media, and we both found it to be interesting Keith Dambrot said this during his post game press conference last night. Especially the second quote
"Well I mean they are different style coaches. Coach Stallings is a finesseful (not a word) a guy that's a little more offensive oriented. This team is more like Duke."
He went on to say, "But I think they're a good team, he's done a good job of fitting pieces together and you can tell that he's kind of imposed his will on them by who he is playing and who he's not playing."
In last year's City Game, Shamiel Stevenson played 27 minutes and scored 13 points and grabbed 7 rebounds and did not play at all last night. Interesting view from an opposing coach that saw the team last year.
Dambrot praised Pitt's defense multiple times last night also. He really thought Pitt did a nice job.
