So my posting history has questioned Tomlin’s last several years My view has been basically that he’s a very solid coach that should be respected but IMO opinion overrated. I won’t back away from that opinion but I heard something last night that I would bet $1,000+ on its accuracy. Directly from a top level Steelers source.
Russell Wilson flies private and travels with 2 body guards and a personal trainer. The Steelers sent a limo to his hotel to bring him over to the Southside. Outside the hotel on pick up Wilson told the driver his posse was going to take him over. The Steelers aid or whatever called Tomlin. Wilson and Tomlin talked for 60 seconds. Tomlin told Wilson to keep the posse at the hotel and basically get in the steeler SUV. He also told Wilson the Steelers don’t permit that and if he was uncomfortable he’d understand and get him a ride back to the airport.
Tomlin is taking that locker room back.
