As you might have seen in another post, I interviewed Shocky Jacques-Louis and Taysir Mack today about their decisions to go to Pitt. Both had good things to say and I think you'll like reading the articles.
One thing that stood out, though: both Jacques-Louis and Mack said that they had taken notice of "the freshman quarterback they have."
That, of course, is a reference to Kenny Pickett.
“When I was looking at schools, I was looking at the quarterbacks coming back," Mack said. "I watched him play against Miami. I liked the way that he was running the ball and throwing the ball, and him being a freshman and beating a team like that, that was big for me. If he is doing that as a freshman, imagine what he can do as time goes on.”
"I watched some of his games and he’s real nice," Jacques-Louis said (in case you're unfamiliar, "nice" is pretty high praise).
So it seems like offensive skill players are seeing the future with Pickett.
