Is there a travel app that monitors air ticket prices?

I haven't flown in over a decade but have my hotel booked for Tallahassee. Any lair suggestions for booking air travel for a non flight family would be greatly appreciated

Don’t know if this still holds true because I haven’t been in a tin can myself for a while. But there used to be times/days of the week where prices were cheapest. Google it and see if that’s still the case.

Are you flying directly into Tallahassee? Airfares are going to be more expensive, though there probably aren't a lot of close alternatives. May want to look at Jacksonville if you are willing to drive two hours.

By the time I rent a car flying into Tallahassee is probably a wash with flying to Pensacola or Jacksonville or even Orlando. I am just wondering if prices fluctuate or I should book asap.

There are sites like kayak that will have things like fare calendars and conidence levels. If you're talking the 17th to the 19th then fares are currently lower than average for the Pittsburgh to Tallahassee route. I would buy ASAP, you'll never get a deal within two weeks and you'll get flat out robbed within one.
