....that a certain couple posters who many of us believe are Nitter trolls haven't made a single post about either subject?

Something unequivocally good happens for Pitt... while something unequivocally bad happens for PSU.... and all of a sudden they have nothing to say.

How do you see it, and the future for him, since some of their fans have left his corner with the game results and his game-day coaching? I am curious as to how his advocates see things. And, next year could be worse with a tougher schedule.

As most know I was not a Chaney fan so I am thrilled about a new coordinator. Knock on him all you want, NC State was not good but put up a lot of points last year. I think this could be a good hire.

As I see it, I welcome and enjoy reading TD and Dion posts as well as Michigan's Aged-Wolverine, WVU's, PSU's, MSU's, UNC's, Cane's and all other Posters regardless of their praise, allegiance or criticisms. It is because they put in good CFB content in their postings, as far as I am concern.

In addition, we have many Posters on the Lair that an challenge, engage, and defend that content and that kind of sharing adds to insights on learning about each Programs, Conferences, and Players.

Moreover, Pitt's College Football Program Traditions can stay with any in CFB and we can always share in different opinions and banter backed up by good info, logic & links that support those opinions and can always agree to disagree.

The Rival Premium Boards are the better place to talk, exchange, and learn more on each Teams and has better content, but the Free Boards are always fun and we have many Pitt Defender Posters and Posters like you, that set the content straight.

The bottom line is part of CFB Discussions include opinions, banter, and pride but one can separate the flames of postings from the gains in content, when CFB is ever changing cycle of change anyway among the all the Programs?

I do not go on other Boards to trash or rip their Schools, Programs, Coaches, or Players out of respect for them, but I will defend Pitt on Lair's Board as well and it is easy to ID Flamers and the Monitors do a good job anyway!

So, I want to welcome and read what other think about Pitt and ignore many Posts that I have no opinion or knowledge I can contribute on anyway, and glad they post on the Lair.

Please find a post by me or anyone else prior to yesterday that said we didn't want Pitt to hire Canada. And Psu trolls like yourself don't count.

And I find it interesting that you don't consider the recruiting implications for both Pitt and Psu with regards to Shoop leaving. If you don't think this impact Hudson and Hamlin, you're crazy. They might not pick Pitt, but the likelihood of them picking Jimmy Franklin and his imploding coaching staff has gone down.

I don't follow PSU enough to know the climate up there. If anybody had the belief that his tenure would be nothing but an upward trend, then they were clueless. Any fan that has left his corner after two seasons and sat through the crap PSU has produced for the past 20 years is lacking common sense.

Losing Shoop wouldn't be a big deal. If the Nits are willing to pay what they were for Shoop, they can hire another quality DC.

Omar, Tennessee fired a DC last week, lost a 4 star recruit and recently lost the #1 QB recruit in the nation. That isn't big news.

Now you are right there, and I was surprised how a few Lair posters were not happy and put Canada down, but that is why they have Blog Boards to exchange such info. The same happen with Bob Shoop with good Nittany Lion Fans coming here on the Lair and correcting Posts by giving more info on his life, residence, and school enrollments in and near State College, but he still interviewed at UTenn too, and some of those Posters came back on and added they were surprised too, and conjecture why he might leave?

Happens every Recruiting year and at all CFB Programs and Transfers too and that will happen again anyhow this and next year? I accept it as part of CFB and the rivalries will continue even if we no longer play each other as much as before due to Conference Changes and Scheduling limitations. It is called Rivals for a reason!

Not so sure about you, but it certainly is odd that every time there is a post here criticizing James Franklin, TD6026 comes rushing here like clockwork to defend him. It's bizarre.
