Isn't it funny......

I do not care about the implications for Penn State. While you are busy flipping back and forth between Pitt and Penn State games when they are on tV at the same time. I am in a half empty stadium at Heinz field because of people like you who are so obsessed with Penn State

Here is a few things I find funny. The washers been claiming anything Pitt has done the past 30 years as wonderful, when it was being done, most of those decisions have been a bust.

NC State can steal are currently employed coaches, but we have to wait to theirs are fired, as stated by Narduzzi himself. Tell me how much Pitt is spending on football compared to those we play? I feel like many of the washers , are the reason it took how many years to demand a change. They just take anything Pitt does as a great decision, and we end up with 30 years of wilderness.

TD, Dion, and a few others are right most of the time. Example, I remember TD was on this board saying, a qb from Tennessee wouldn't make it here as a good qb, he got blasted for it, he was right. He even said qb, was a good kid, smart, just didn't have it for d1, did you all apologize?

I agree and disagree a tad, Penn State is an Elite Revenue Resources Program, but behind Michigan and Ohio State, since joining the Big Ten?

Penn State is by no means Winning anywhere near an Elite Top Winning Program, now with 2012 Reforms the University has to obey, follow, and in compliance with all the rules and laws??

They are having trouble like any Program that keeps changing coaches or got caught breaking NCAA Rules that required Sanctions???

Plus, I am pretty sure he said he was from Nashville? And Wisconsin, and Virginia...

Basically, I doubt there is a person on here that buys anything that guy Tony Dorsett/Dion Lewis says. Seems like just a crazy person trying to spout weird propaganda. Maybe he is actually from North Korea?

I lived in Nashville from 2009 - 2014. I now live in the Tidewater area, but still have a place in Nashville, TN & Alcoa, TN. I have never been to Wisconsin, but I have plans to go to Madison in May.

Here is what I find Hysterical...

Yes, we realize that Pitt has not been relevant on the national scene for decades. We have accepted that and don’t kid ourselves. PSU on the other hand are in deep denial. Here are the facts…

- Penn State has been slowly going in a downward spiral since the new millennium: The last time PSU won a national championship was almost thirty years ago (1986). That’s going on three decades. In November of 1999 they were ranked No. 1 and haven’t seen it since. You have won two major bowls since 1994 (20 years). One in 1994 and the other game (2005) went into overtime against a 7-4 FSU team. Yes, that is more than Pitt, but a lot less than some of the elite schools PSU compare themselves too (Michigan, Ohio State, etc.).

- PSU isn’t even relevant in their own conference: Ask a PSU troll; “Who are the top schools in the Big Ten?” They’ll answer, “Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State.” That’s hilarious. Since joining the conference, PSU has won ONE outright conference title and shared two others. In the same time period (1995-2015), schools that you see as “inferior” have performed better. Here are the teams not named Michigan or Ohio State that have either won or shared the Big Ten Titles in the same time period (1995-2015); Wisconsin (5), Northwestern (3), Iowa (2), Michigan State (3).

PSU is a middle of the pack team in an overrated conference.

Well, why shouls anyone apologize when the Pitt QB won more games in his First Year under a New OC & Head Coach with a Top 40 Program, than the Penn State 5 Star QB was unable to win his Third Year under a 5 Year OC & Head Coach with a Top 15 Program?

Sounds like to me TD might have to apologize for being wrong on that one and not blame the Sanctions?

It all started going downhill for Penn State in 1999. Pitt was like a 26 point underdog and Hank Poteat nearly won it for us. That Penn State team was highly ranked and obviously severely overrated. Haven't been relevant in any kind of "top NC contending team" since(except in their mind).

Pitt is on the rise with Narduzzi at the helm. Give it like 2-3 more years and the culture will have completely changed. We have great things on the horizon for Pitt(finally) while Penn State football is on a rapid decline. Hope Franklin stays for a long time because he has hurt that program badly.

You will enjoy that visit so long as it is between June and August! Great University, I rang the Bell once as a youngster in their Old Main in 1960s' and many Students came, until I was told, that was a No, No, because it is how they brought Students together on Campus at that time! Also, put my feet in the Fountain in Madison too, on very Hot Day with many others going to Wisky! Have a great time!

Some say it was after 1996 when they had full assimilation in the Big Ten. They were picked to Win the NCS in 1999 on the cover of SI, but lost the last 3 Games to Minnesota, Michigan and MSU? After retiring Sandusky they had 4 out of 5 Losing Seasons and Paterno refused to resign. They have won only 1 B1G (1994) Championship and 2 Shared but those 2 were removed by Big Ten!

The talk is allow Franklin to stay and see if he can win 10 games, then dump him, and bring in a PSU Alumni Coach that restore the Roar with Franklin Recruits and not talking past 2017? Munchak or Ruhle can have them winning 10 games, and there is a reason why Ruhle is not leaving Temple? He may be waiting in Franklin's Hometown for him to leave and Ruhle's return to make Happy Valley Happy again?

Meanwhile, Coach Pat will be just fine at Pitt!

What QB from Tennessee??? Pederman played very well last year?!?!

Of course you 3 said something negative, you always do. You're the same person

I think Munch would recruit much better than Franklin.

Captain, he was talking about Voytik, not Peterman. Voytik was regarded by some in Chattanooga area to be the second best QB in the area. The other guy, (sorry, can't think of the name right now) signed with Kentucky.

Voytik played well too. He wasn't a bad qb, just got beat out by another Tennessee qb

Great you have a home for each of your personalities

You're right, these things are normally not news. But the circumstances are news.

Exactly what is the news? Did you expect Pitt to keep the OC job vacant? I think we all knew Pitt would hire an OC.

Recruits flip flop all the time this time of year. That isn't big news either.

And yet, here YOU are, posting on the Pitt board. Irony abounds.

I can't read other boards now? Of an in state school that penn state recruits against and will be playing the next four years? All off your regular posters here come on the bwi board. Yes I know most are banned which I think is dumb but there is no reason I can't come here and comment on something that your fans do on our board.

Perhaps you missed the "irony" part of my post - you came here to deliberately call out a Pitt fan posting about PSU. Get it?

We also go to texas boards from time to time. Boy do they despise psu

I spent a considerable amount of time on the ped st board today. The SEC fans basically took some of the threads, some were pure comedy gold, lot of nitters crying for the mods to protect them. My favorite was while Shoop was supposedly still thinking it over, a UT fan posted a link to "Linger" by the Cranberries.

If that is irony what is pitt fans going to a Georgia board talking about penn state?
Penn State is lucky that Shoop left on a Big Sports Day in Pennsylvania and America, and most no longer talking about Penn State losing another coordinator?

America is talking about what they saw in how Steelers beat Cincy!

Pittsburgh is talking about how Pens are winning near Playoffs Qualifications!

Philadelphia is talking about a New coach and possible move to LA?

Pitt is talking about Coach Canada and Pitt beating ND at South Bend?

Tennessee is posting on Penn State Boards all about Shoop coming to them and leaving Penn State?

PennLive is talking about Franklin's problems in losing his Staff and De-commit?

The Irony is BWI Penn State Posters are trashing Shoop and Franklin now, now that is true Irony?

They don't get that everyone does. Go to the Big Ten boards. Michigan, Michigan St, Ohio St, Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin have all posted threads about their hatred for them. And it is NOT out of jealousy like the PoSU fans want everyone to believe. Then any time there is any interaction whether it be a game a team is playing with them or a coaching change like we saw with Tennessee, they are just mocked.

I'm so glad these posters are so proud of their PoSU, because everyone else thinks they are a disgrace.

I think a major reason for this is if most anyone, as fans, Pitt, OSU, UCLA, whoever, if their football team was proven to have children raped in the locker room during camps would sit and think for a few days then come out of that deep thought and say "wow, I am no longer a Pitt fan". I mean, there is no way I would follow Pitt, even as an alumni anymore. No way! I have thought long and hard about that previously, and honestly, I do feel bad for most of the UPS fans that feel the same way as me, but cant just switch it off because its still there, it didnt go away. They have no other chance but to continue to fallow. But one thing that IS NOW THERE, and this is key, MOST of their fans now have a clearer understanding of football/real life relationship. Most I talked to say they arent as fervent as they used to be now. Life is more important than football, the cult is losing grip. You have those cogs still preaching, cause, that is what they do, that is what they are used to. But, most arent buying it anymore. So, the rest of the country just see it as creepy, sick following of brain dead footballness.
