He said it was due to lack of playing time, but there are 4 F/C, including him. One was a senior, one is now projected as a first rounder and some services have him as a lottery pick, and the other may enter the draft. So he would be either one of two or the only one left. Wonder if it’s something more?
This is like the 5th transfer in 20 years at UNC during a timespan that they’ve won 3 national titles. Hardly apples to apples.
But yes, kids love to be recruited. Hate to get coached when they get to campus and the coaches aren’t so nice anymore. So they go looking for that high of getting likes that they have a final 5 and final 3 and visiting schools so they want to be recruited again.
The second I saw him I thought why the eff did he go to UNC? Did he not want to play? They have like 10 dudes in front of him but he'd start at 90% of P6 schools. Some kids are just dumb.
Why would a player who is good enough to be player of the year in Georgia ever want to go to a blue blood school. Can't figure these kids out today.
