.....two turnovers in the first half, one of which was a three second call

....I was a little stressed as I keep score and realized that sometimes I couldn 't tell if it was a Pitt steal or a careless turnover

....not much to take from this game other than maybe a very important boost in confidence

Not exactly a frenzied atmosphere at the Pete tonight. But at least no bad weather to deal with for the drive.

Thought it was more like a 32 minute scrimmage. The first 4 minutes Pitt was sleepy. The last 4 minutes were almost all walk-ons. In the 32 in between Pitt did some pretty nice things a good deal of the time.

1 more tune up. Then the real work starts in earnest. No more 32 minute scrimmages. Hopefully no more sleepy starts, either.

I’ve actually graduated from both schools. Pittsburgh was an amazing place to live. Binghamton, while more like a PA town than NY, was kind of depressing.

Well the city of Binghamton might not be the greatest (it's kinda in the middle
of nowhere)....however the university is easily one of, if not the best in the,
New York (SUNY) university system. That's not an opinion.

You are correct, Binghamton University is a really good public university that is rapidly growing and helping to revitalize a very dead downtown.

I was born and spent my youth in Binghamton so im partial to it. What's left of my family still lives there.Yes it's not a great city but it has character.

No it’s not

Binghamton, my dad’s hometown, is full of old Victorian houses and with the lake effect winter overcast being there can make you feel like you have entered a time warp. Maybe that ambiance is what motivated Binghamton born Rod Serling to create the popular Twilight Zone and Night Gallery creepy TV series back in the 1960s and early 1970s.

You've got to be careful not to crash the cop's poker games, I've been told, however.
